The show will go on! We are so excited about the amazing 6th graders who will be joining us in the CMS Beginning Band this year! We had the best time test driving instruments in our fifth grade music class last year. We learned so much, had a lot of laughs, and made some awesome sounds on the instruments (and some funny ones too)! 
 
So can you still join the band even though we're not in school? YES! All you need to do is claim your spot by filling out the interest form at the bottom on this page. We will hold your place in the 2021-2022 CMS Beginning Band, set aside a free band t-shirt for you, and contact you with more information within a few days. That's it! You don't need to do anything else until August 16th: your first day of band. We already have a list of your favorite band instruments, but you can remind us on the interest form. Remember: we select students to play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, and percussion in the beginning band.
